LibreTexts is a Library of Attributions and Associated Licenses
Not only does LibreTexts keep track of the license of the custom compiled book, but it also keeps track of the various pages that were pulled into that book, and the license of individual paragraphs that may be combined within a single page. In the world of OER, it is not enough to say people can use materials for free: we want to respect the authorship of those materials (when required by the license) and give credit where credit is due while still allowing freedom of customizing materials for your pedagogical needs.
